Different Methods to Check in
Here, we will navigate through all the different ways you can check in with Virgin
Atlantic.
Web Check in
Visit the official website of Virgin Atlantic.
Enter either your Booking reference or Flying Club number.
Enter your departing airport.
Select “Start Check in”.
You are given the option to view and change seats, upgrade your seat, add
baggage, and print your boarding pass.
Airport Check in
You can check in up to 60 minutes prior to the flight departure from the Virgin Atlantic
airport help desk and get your boarding pass printed.
You can also request to change or upgrade your seat, to add excess baggage ,making
name change etc.
Kiosk Check in
You may get yourself checked in at the automated kiosk at the airport at least 60
minutes prior to the flight departure, just enter your booking details, and proceed on to
view your seat details and print your boarding pass.
App Check in
You may download the app from the apple store or the google play store.
Login with your Virgin Atlantic Account.
Go to Check in.
Enter either your Booking reference or Flying Club number.
Enter your departing airport.
Select “Start Check in”.

Check in Time Virgin Atlantic
Check in time for Virgin Atlantic flights open 24 hours prior to the flight departure and
closes 70 minutes before the departure. You may refer to the Virgin Atlantic website to
know any more details about the specific region you are flying from.
Caribbean Inter-Island Flights
Online check-in is not available for passengers using Virgin Atlantic’s inter-island
services to travel between Caribbean islands; instead, you must check in at the airport.
Check-in will open two hours prior to departure for flights from Barbados to St. Vincent
and Grenada, and four hours prior to departure for flights from Grenada and St. Vincent
to Barbados.
Virgin Atlantic Check in Guidelines
As
a result of our decision to no longer accept cash payments at the airport, Virgin
Atlantic ask’s that you bring an alternate form of payment for any additional fees or
charges that may be applicable. This will help you fly smoothly and safely by
minimizing the need for customer engagement with Virgin Atlantic staff.
If you've checked in online but were unable to print your boarding pass, you have
the option to print one at our automated kiosks at the airport or request one at our
bag drop offices. There is, of course, no extra fee for this service.

Notably, if you are traveling onward within the same country, most countries require
you to clear your baggage through customs at the first entry point of entry. Virgin
Atlantic cannot, therefore, check through your baggage to your final destination if

I booked the seat and cancelled after some time due to some emergency. I thought I will not get that much refund for my ticket but there customer care guided me and gave me almost 90% of my refund.
