Name Correction Process
Visit the official Air Canada Website
Go to Manage your trip.
Click on Access/Update my booking.
New page will open, go to my bookings
Enter your booking reference number or ticket number.
Enter your last name and click “Find”.
Then follow along with the on-screen prompts to cancel your booking.
Air Canada Name Change Policy
The best course of action is to rebook (with the right name) and cancel your ticket
for a full refund if you discover a mistake or misspelling within 24 hours of making
your reservation.
Name changes resulting from marriage, divorce, legal adoption, legal change of
name, etc. are not permitted by Air Canada and require the submission of the
following supporting documentation to Air Canada prior to travel:
1. Marriage Certificate
2. Divorce Decree
3. Legal Adoption Papers
4. Valid Court Documentation
Name Change Fee
If your ticket needs to be reissued due to major errors, you may be charged:
1. USD 50 for changing a Flex ticket
2. USD 25 for changing a Comfort ticket
3. No fee for changing Latitude, Premium Economy, and Business tickets, as long
as they are fully flexible.
4. Minor misspellings and typos may not be charged, but they must be supported
by legitimate supporting documentation.
