If you need to change your flight with KLM Airlines, it's important to review the
travel advisory issued by the airline to understand any relevant guidelines and
restrictions. When considering a new flight, you can access the seating chart to
select your preferred seats and assess available options for layover flights.
Additionally, be sure to review the luggage allowance for your new flight to avoid
any unexpected fees. To proceed with the change, you will likely need your
booking number and may need to request a ticket refund for the original booking.
KLM Airlines typically provides a straightforward process for initiating a refund
request, ensuring a smooth transition to your new travel plans.

Go to My Trips.
Login with your flying blue id or email.

Or you can login with your booking details i.e. your booking code and last
name.
The follow the on-screen prompts to change your booking.
Flight Change Guidelines
Whether you used Delta Air Lines, Air France, or KLM to book your journey, you
can simply modify the date, time, and destination of your flight using My Trip,
depending on the terms of your ticket.
The best options will be displayed to you automatically when you change your
ticket; if your new flight costs more, you will need to pay the difference.
Regretfully, KLM Customer Contact Center is unable to provide you with other
flight options.
If you made your reservation through a travel agency, you are unable to use their
online refund system. To arrange your refund, we recommend getting in touch
with your travel agency first, as they have all the information necessary. You can
find their contact information on their website. Alternatively, you can get in touch
with us for further details.
Changing your flight can cost different amounts depending on your itinerary, class
of travel, and type of ticket. If the new trip costs more than the original, you will be
responsible for the difference, and if it costs less, you will receive a voucher for
the difference.
