Name Change Process
Visit the official website of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
Go to My Trips.
Login with your flying blue id or email.
If you don’t have an id you can sign up to create a new one.
Or you can login with your booking details i.e. your booking code and last
name.
The follow the on-screen prompts to make name changes.
Name Corrections Guidelines
If you are traveling with KLM, Air France, or Delta Air Lines and booked your
trip through KLM, you can get in touch with us to request a free name
correction.
In the event that a different partner airline operates one of your flights, kindly
submit your request at least 72 hours prior to departure.
It goes without saying that the ticket remains in your name and that you cannot
change it to someone else's.
For travels that were booked through a travel agency, name corrections should
be made directly with the travel agency; please allow plenty of time for
processing.
Requesting a name correction is not necessary if:
1. It is accurate that only one of your first names is listed in your booking, even
when you have many first names;
2. if your last name matches the one on your passport, you may use your maiden
name;’
3. It is not an error; if your name appears without spaces because that is what
their system did.

I booked the seat and cancelled after some time due to some emergency. I thought I will not get that much refund for my ticket but there customer care guided me and gave me almost 90% of my refund.
